Iran says won't give up uranium enrichment

TEHRAN, Apr 27 (Reuters) Iran's president said today that Tehran would not abandon uranium enrichment, a day before the UN nuclear watchdog reports on whether Iran has complied with demands that it halt this sensitive atomic work.

''We have obtained the technology for producing nuclear fuel ...

no one can take it away from our nation,'' Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told a rally in northwest Iran, adding that such a step could not be ''imposed'' on Iran.
