India can outwit any country: Ramalingaraju
Hyderabad, Apr 27 :With value of Human Resources at its peak in the country now now, the 1.1 billion strong India can outwit any country in the world, National Association of Software and Service Companies(NASSCOM) Chairman and Satyam Computer Services Founder and Chairman Ramalingaraju opined today.
Addressing a HR conclave organised by the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), he said ''we are operating in a borderless world.
The business environment in the country is far better than China, giving highest value to people''.
He exhorted young professionals to develop the mindset of confidence in oneself with urge to excel.
XLRI Director Fr. N Casmir Raj underscored the need for nurturing values in the formative years.
Quoting a recent survey, he said 90.3 per cent of Indians wanted to be famous against 60.9 per cent in the USA and 52.7 per cent globally. As many as 75 per cent of Indians wanted to earn fortures, against 53.3 per cent in China and 64.3 per cent globally.
Urging the Industry to take a leaf out of the armed forces with a value system that could fire the passion of the personnel to achieve the organisational goals, GenPact Vice-President Smriti Ahuja observed that personal and business values were not not at all contradictory and could be aligned.
