Farmer conventions in Krishna district from May 2

Vijayawada, Apr 27 (UNI) To motivate farmers on better farming methods, Krishna district administration will conduct farmers conventions in four revenue divisions of the district from May 2 to 5.

The farmers conventions will be held at the Andhra Loyola college here, Machilipatnam, Nuzvid and Gudivada. About 2,000 farmers from the Vijayawada revenue division will participate in the convention.

Officials from the aptransco, irrigation, animal husbandry, horticulture, marketing, underground drainage, micro-irrigation, fisheries, agriculture and other departments related to farming and marketing will educate the farmers.
