Farm loans, interest will be waived: Jaya

Tiruchirapalli, Apr 27 (UNI) After offering ten kg of free rice, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and AIADMK general secretary Ms J Jayalalitha today announced waiver of all farm loans availed from the cooperative banks and the accumulated interest amount, if the AIADMK was elected to power.

Addressing a mammoth gathering at valadi village in Lalgudi taluk here, as part of her month-long whirlwind election campaign, Ms Jayalalitha said she would implement her assurance with the state resources, without expecting any assistance from the centre.

This is my another assurance to the people, she said amidst thunderous applause.
