Cong will form Government :Reddy

Pondicherry,Apr 27(UNI)AICC secretary in charge of Pondicherry Sudhakar Reddy today expressed confidence that the Congrss will form the government in the union territory after the May 8 assembly elections .

"The trend is in our favour,definitely we will form the government"he told a press conference here this evening.

Mr Reddy who had undertaken the electioneering in the Karaikal region and also in Lawspet constituency here said seven rebel candidates were expelled in consultation with the AICC. Everyone should work for the victory of the alliance candidates. Otherwise, the party will not hesitate to initiate disciplinary action against them.

He said in a bid to have better co-ordination among the alliance partners,he held discussions with DMK and PMK leaders here today.
