Churchill Brothers register 1-0 victory against HAL

Bangalore, Apr 27 (UNI) Churchill Brothers registered a 1-0 victory in its maiden encounter with Hindustan Aeroneutics Sports Club (HAL) in the Second Division ONGC Cup 10th National Football League (Final Round) here today.

The all important goal was scored in the 80th minute by striker Vanlal Rova Chuaugo. He took advantage of a pass by mid-fielder, Freddy Masscarenhas and netted the ball to enable his team collect full three points.

Though the local outfit HAL dominated the game, it could not succeed in scoring as the Goans showed superb skill in defence and attack.
