Chargesheet against 4 for posing as CBI agents
New Delhi, Apr 27 (UNI) The Central Bureau of Investigation has chargesheeted four people, including a constable of Secretariat Security Force in the national capital, for allegedly posing as CBI officials and extracting money from the owners of massage parlours in the city.
The chargesheet was filed yesterday in the court of Special CBI judge under the provisions of the Indian Penal Code, charging them with conspiracy, forgery and cheating.
The CBI had registered a case in the regard on February 24.
During investigation, it was found that the accused after preparing forged identity cards in the name of Rajeev Malhotra, were conducting 'fake' raids on massage parlours in Delhi and were extracting money from the owners, posing as Special Branch officials of CBI.
The investigative agency arrested three of the accused on the February 27 and the fourth was arrested subsequently.
Besides the SSF constable Sanjay kumar, two other accused were a Safai karamchari/waterman in CBI Hemraj alias Shunti and a former casual worker with CBI Sanjeev Kumar while the fourth was a private person Rajeev Malhotra.
