Brajesh Mishra refuses to comment on Jethmalani's allegations
New Delhi, Apr 27 (UNI) Former National Security Adviser Brajesh Mishra today refused to react to the allegations levelled by noted jurist and the then Union Law Minister Ram Jethmalani against him that the former was incapable of handling the Kandahar hijack case.
''I have read the interview and I have no comments to make, whatsoever, on the issue,'' he told UNI. His attention was drawn to the allegations made by Mr Jethmalani in an interview to Hindi weekly "Outlook".
Mr Jethmalani had described Mr Mishra as ''incompetent at handling issues'' relating to national security.
He could not handle the hijacking of an Indian Airlines plane to Kandahar even as it had made a landing at Amritsar, the former minister said.
