BJP to fare better in Assembly polls: Advani

Bhopal, Apr 27: The Bharatiya Janata Party's performance in the ongoing Assembly elections in few states will be ''better'' than previous polls, senior party leader L K Advani said today.

Mr Advani said he had joined the campaign trail in Kerala, West Bengal and Tamil Nadu and would tour Pondicherry also. He was hopeful that the party's performance in these states would be better than earlier, he told a news conference here during his ''Bharat Suraksha Yatra''.

He said the Election Commission's directives to stick to the model code of conduct should be strictly abhered.
