Advani yatra received support even in NCP areas

Jabalpur, Apr 27 (UNI) The BJP today claimed that the 6,000-km 'Bharat Suraksha Yatra' (BSY) led by senior party leader L K Advani, received support from minorities, youth and farmers besides being enthusiastically welcomed even in western Maharashtra's NCP-dominated sugar-belt of Rayalseema and Telangana.

''Even as Mr Advani undertakes his endeavour, BJP President Rajnath Singh is also on a 5,500-km Puri-Delhi yatra. Both yatras will traverse 22 states before concluding at the national capital on May 10,'' BSY Incharge and former union minister Anant Kumar told UNI.

The BSY has covered 3,400 km at it arrived at Bhopal. Mr Advani addressed 122 public meetings and 164 'swagat sabhas' in Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh.
