1800 detonators , other explosive materials siezed

Ranchi, Apr 27 : Police recovered more than 1700 detonators along with huge quantity of other explosive materials from a house at Hutar village under Khunti police station near here.

Police today said the explosives were meant to be supplied to the Maoists and stone crusher units.

On a tip off from an arrested ultra, the house was raided yesterday where some 770 gelatin rods, 180 coils of fuge wire, 13 kgs gunpowder and other chemicals were recovered.

Search was on to nab the house owner, who fled the scene during raid.
