Woman Naxal surrenders in AP

Ongole, Andhra Pradesh, Apr 26 (UNI) A woman Naxal belonging to the CPI (Maoist) party surrendered before the Superintendent of Police (SP) N Balasubramanyam in Prakasham district of Andhra Pradesh today.

Speaking to newsmen here, Mr Subramanyam said Naxal Ms G Venkataramana alias Kumari had joined the Maoists in 2004. She was a member of Tiger project Dalam. She was one of the accused in Yatchavaram triple murder and Papinenipally murder cases.

Police had announced Rs 20,000 as reward on her.
