Woman electrocuted

Kollam, Apr 26 (UNI) A 49-year-old woman was killed when she accidentally came into contact with a snapped live electric line at Vadakkevila, in the city today.

The deceased was identified as Saraswathi Amma, a cashew labourer.

The tragedy occurred when she accidently stepped on the snapped electric line while crossing the road.

Kollam police have registered a case.
