Withdraw proposed pension fund regulatory Bill: BMS

Kottayam, Apr 26 (UNI) Bharthiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) state president M S Karunakaran and General Secretary K K Vijayakumar today appealed to the Centre to withdraw the proposed Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority Bill.

At a press meet here, they described the Bill as 'anti-labour'.

It would be detrimental to the interests of Central government staff, teachers and employees of public sector undertakings, they added.

In Kerala, May 9 would be observed as protest day as part of the nationwide agitation against the Bill, they said and added that mass dharna would be staged before all district centres and selected Central government offices that day.
