Two held for kidnapping, dacoity

Hyderabad, Apr 26 (UNI) Police apprehended one G Malla Reddy (45), resident of Chilkalguda, for his involvement in kidnapping of one Gangaiah of Tirupathi in collaboration with one Suresh for ransom of Rs 10 lakh.

Following a tip, police caught Malla Reddy, who owned pan shop at Mahaboobabad near his residence and on interrogation found that he was involved in kidnapping of Gangaiah. The accused had a criminal record and was earlier arrested in a counterfeit case.

Police also seized two Indica cars, one Hero Honda motorcycle, four cell phones and Rs 70,000 in cash from him.
