Two contract labours died in JSW Steel Plant

Bellary. Apr 26 (UNI) Two contract labourers working in Jindal South West (JSW) steel plant died while attending some engineering work which is progress in Jindal.

Police said that while Prem died on the spot, Parvatha Reddy succumbed to injuries on the way to Hospital.

Both the workers were attending the lift work at the height of 30-40 feet. Suddenly they saw a huge beam was shaking and was about to fall on them and in a panicky, to escape from the fall of beam they fell to the ground thus causing reason for the accident.

While Parvatha Reddy hailed from Raichur, Prem hailed from North India. The labourers were engaged by Lift and Engineering agency which is one of the contract agency working for Jindal. The accident took place at 1500 hrs.
