Police unearths dump in AP

Hyderabad, Apr 26 (UNI) Police have recovered 12 weapons, 1551 rounds of ammunition and eight coupling bombs belonging to various Left wing groups from four Dumps near Moddulingagudem, Basapur, Bhupalapalli and Tupakulagudem in Nizamabad district today.

According to a press release here, police unearthed the dump during routine combing operations. The recovered weapons also included three 8 mm rifles, two carbines, five DBBL guns, one SBBL gun and one air gun.

In another search operation, a police special party recovered six landmines planted by the CPI (Maoist) extremists near Amargiri viilage of Kollapur mandal in Mahaboob Nagar district.
