Karsan Ghavri to inaugurate coaching camp tomorrow

Rajkot, Apr 26 (UNI) Former Test cricketer Karsan Ghavri will inaugurate a coaching camp for boys between the age group of five and 16 at the Race Course Athletes ground here tomorrow.

Rajkot Nagarik Sahakari Bank, the multi-state scheduled bank is organising this camp free of cost for the budding cricketers, a spokesman of the bank said.

''To encourage the budding cricketers and to expose their talents is the main aim behind organising this camp,'' the spokesman added.

Former Ranji Trophy players and coach of the Sports Authority of Gujarat (SAG) will impart training to the boys during this camp.

Secretary of the SAG J T Akhani, Nagarik Bank Chairman Jyotindrabhai Mehta and Rajkot Mayor Dhansukh Bhanderi will be present during the inaugural function, the spokesman added.
