Inter-factional clash claims two lives

Kohima, Apr 26 (UNI) At least two NSCN(K) cadres were killed in inter-factional clash with rival NSCN-IM at Athibung under Peren district.

Official sources said firing took place for over one hour between the rival NSCN factions yesterday, which resulted in the deaths of two NSCN (K) cadres.

District authorities rushed to the spot to stop blood shed among the warring factions.

Round-the-clock vigil is being kept to prevent escalation of the situation, sources said.
