Hatred against violence would crush violence mongers: Azad

Jammu, Apr 26 (UNI) Expressing deep concern over the grenade attack on school children in Tral, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad today said increasing hatred against violence, among the people would crush violence mongers.

Mr Azad, in a statement issued here, said throwing of grenades on school children and causing terror is in no way an act of bravery but extreme disrespect to humanity, cowardice and frustration of mind.

Over 17 civilians, including 12 children, had received grenade splinter injuries in the Tral incident.

Expressing surprise over the inhuman acts of militants, the Chief Minister said despite clear public hatred against militant acts, these elements are still resorting to bloodshed.

He conveyed sympathies to the bereaved families and prayed for the early recovery of the injured.
