Four Indians among world's best media students
Dubai, Apr 26 (UNI) Four Indians are among the the world's best student media talents this year to receive the fifth IBDA Awards at a function organised by leading global and regional media organistations here.
Anuja Rane from Sophia Polytechnic bagged the award in the Print Advertising category. The prize is a one-month internship with Saatchi&Saatchi.
In the Radio Category, Swagata Majumdar from Convergence Institute of Media Management got a month internship with the Arabian Radio Network.
Rrivu Laha from the Film&TV Institute of India won the prize in the TV Documentary sphere and will intern with the Al Aqariya TV.
Vibhu Puri from the Film&TV Institute of India won an inetrnship with Showtime in the Film category.
The awardees were selected from 2,217 submissions received from around the world.
The awards were presented last night at a function by Chairman of Dubai Technology and Media Zone Authority Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
