Cylonic storm over Andaman

Pune, Apr 26 (UNI) Andaman&Nicobar Islands, being under the the influence of the cyclonic storm, is likely to experience squally winds between 60-70 kmph during next 48 hours.

Heavy to very heavy rain are likely to occur at most places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Heat wave conditions prevailed at isolated places in some parts of Haryana, Punjab and north west Rajasthan.

Day temperatures were appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and in some parts of Assam and Meghalaya, Rayalseema, south intrerior Karnataka and in the remanining parts of Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan, while they were above normal in south coastal Orissa, coastal Andhra Pradesh and in some parts of north Chattisgarh and of Kerala.

They were appreciably below normal in Sikkim and in some parts of Bihar and of north Madhya Maharashtra and normal over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripurta, West Bengal and Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, east uttar pradesh, Chattisgarh,Andhra Pradesh State, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over west Uttar pradesh, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Gujarat State, Konkan and goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathawada, Karnataka State and Lakshadweep.

Isolated places in Orissa, Uttaranchal, east Rajasthan, east Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu have experienced very light showers.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Andman and Nicobar Islands and at isolated places in Assam and Meghalaya, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Rayalseema and Kerala.
