Combined Defence Services Exam on Sept 17

New Delhi, Apr 26 (UNI) The Union Public Service Commission will conduct the Combined Defence Services Examination-(II), 2006 on September 17 next, it was today announced.

The exam will select candidates for admission to the Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy and Air Force Academy for the courses commencing in July, 2007 and Officers Training Academy, Chennai for the Course commencing in October, 2007, said an official spokesman here.

Aspirants were advised to consult the detailed notice of the examination published in the Employment News/'Rozgar Samachar' dated April 22 last for details regarding the eligibility conditions, syllabus and scheme of the examination, Centres of examination, guidelines for filling up the application form and the like.

In case of any guidance/information/clarification regarding the applications, candidates were further advised to contact UPSC's Facilitation Counter near 'C' Gate of its campus in person or over Telephone Numbers 011-23385271, 011-23381125, 011-23098543 on all working days between 10.00 hrs and 17.00 hrs or visit the Commission's Website at address: http://www.upsc.gov.in.
