BJP leader among five injured in grenade attack in Doda

Doda, Apr 26 (UNI) Five people, including a former BJP MLA and two Special Police Officers (SPOs), were injured when they came under grenade attack by unidentified militants at Nagri in Doda town tonight.

According to police sources, the incident happened when former BJP MLA and Doda tehsil president Somi Raj Sharma was returning to his home. Two civilians were also injured in the attack.

All the injured have been admitted to civil hospital here and the condition of one of the SPO is stated to be critical.

An operation has been lauched to nab the assailants.
