Birla Sunlife Tax to pay 500 pc dividend

Mumbai, Apr 26 (UNI) Birla mutual fund has announced a tax free dividend of 500 per cent (Rs 50 per unit on face value of Rs ten) in its Birla Sunlife Tax Relief 96.

The scheme is an open-end equity linked saving scheme (ELSS) which aims at providing growth along with tax benefits to investors.

The record date for the dividend is April 27. The NAV as on April 21 was Rs 223.10, the release said.
