5 boys drowned in Painganga River

Nagpur, Apr 26 (UNI) Five boys have drowned in the Painganga River at Karwai Village in Chandrapur district.

The five children had gone for a swim in the river on Monday when they were swept away by the strong currents, reports reaching here today said. The bodies of the children were recovered yesterday.

The police have identified the five boys as Nitin Punekar, Rajkumar Arjunan, Laxmikant Thakur, Vijay Das and Satish Punyalwar.
