24 injured in a mishap

Beed, Maharashtra, Apr 26 (UNI) Atleast 24 people including nine women and nine children were injured when a jeep in which they were travelling, turned turtle after one of its tyre burst in Keij tehsil of this district.

Police said the people travelling by the jeep were heading for Vadmavali village to attend the annual fair there, when the mishap occurred at around 1100 hrs yesterday.

All the injured have been admitted to the District Civil Hospital here, while investigations are on, the police sources said.
