Xerox Global division gets new Director

Bangalore, Apr 25 (UNI) In a move to strengthen the Xerox Global Services division, Xerox India Limited has appointed Mr Ravi Venkatraman as its Director with immediate effect.

Mr Venkatraman comes on board with over 18 years of sales and business development experience with expertise in corporate and channel sales, a company release here said today.

Prior to this, Mr Venkatraman was the National Business Manager of CMS Computers. He had spearheaded several important sales and marketing assignments of renowned companies including Kelvinator, Electrolux and BPL.

Mr Venkatraman would be responsible for growing the XGS business in newer geographies and building strong partnerships with top 100 large Indian enterprises for managing their document outsourcing needs.

Speaking on the appointment, Xerox India Limited Managing Director Andrew Horne, in the release, said ''Ravi brings with him invaluable experience in sales and business development apart from excellent leadership and communication skills.'' Xerox Global services provide a wide range of consulting and technology services to help companies reduce costs, improve responsiveness to the marketplace and accelerate business decisions.

As part of this appointment, the release added.
