Satish Mandhana joins IDFC PE as Exec VP

Mumbai, Apr 25: Satish Mandhana has joined the investment team of IDFC Private Equity (IDFC PE) as Executive Vice-President, a release issued here today stated.

With over 24 years experience in financial services, Mr Mandhana was CFO and Head of Business Strategy at JK Paper before taking up this new assignment. He also had a stint as Director at CDC (now Actis) before joining JK Paper.

While at CDC, Mr Mandhana was involved in many important investments and exit decisions and while at JK Paper, he handled the restructuring of the company, which included raising capital of Rs 800 crore, improving debt-equity ratio of the company from 9:1 to 1.5:1 and attracting foreign investors in the company.
