Reliance Communication board to meet on May 1

Mumbai, Apr 25: The first board meeting of newly-listed Reliance Communication Ventures (RCoVL), a company of Anil Dhirubhai Ambani (ADA) group, has been scheduled to take place on May one to consider the company's result for the quarter ended March 31.

This will be first quarterly finacial result of the company since its listing on Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange on March 6, a RCoVL release said.

It said the current financial year of the company will of 15 months from January 1, 2006 to March 31, 2007.

The board of directors will also also consider consolidated financial results of the company for the period ended March 31,2006 in terms of the proposed scheme of amalgamation and arrangement as if the scheme became effective from April 1 , 2005, the release added.
