OPIL records 24 pc sales growth
Mumbai, Apr 25 (UNI) Orient Paper and Industries Limited (OPIL) has reported a 24 per cent growth in sales for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 over the corresponding previous fiscal.
The gross turnover has jumped from Rs 860 crore in 2004-05 to Rs 1000 crore.
OPIL has also reported a substantial increase in profit before tax for the fourth quarter at Rs 38 crore as compared to Rs 1.5 crore in the corresponding period last year.
For the twelve-month period ended March 31, 2006, OPIL has earned a PBT of Rs 53.51 crore against Rs 4.21 crore in the previous year, the release said.
