National Jr Wushu Championships from May 10

Lucknow, Apr 25 (UNI) The sixth National Junior Wushu Championships will be held at Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh from May 10 to 15.

The event is being organised by MP Wushu Association under the auspices of Wushu Association of India, Uttar Pradesh Wushu Association general secretary Anand Kacker said here today.

The UP junior team will participate in both the boys and girls categories in the national event. The state selection trials were completed here on April 16.

''The selection of the Indian Wushu Junior team, which will take part in the first World Junior Wushu Championships at Malaysia between August 20-27, will also take place in the Jabalpur event,'' Mr Kacker said.
