Man dies due to alleged police brutality

Kollam, Apr 25 (UNI) A saw mill worker who was allegedly assaulted by a police constable succumbed to injuries, resulting in tension at Chadayamangalam in this district of Kerala.

The victim was identified as Chandra Babu(44), police said today.

According to reports, police constable Anil Kumar had an altercation with the victim after consuming liquor late yesterday.

The victim died later at his residence.
