Japan stocks little changed, exporters fall

TOKYO, Apr 25 (Reuters) The Nikkei average was flat on Tuesday as a rebound in retailer Isetan Co. Ltd. and other stocks dependent on domestic demand was offset by falls in auto makers and other exporters due to a further rise in the yen.

The Nikkei was down 0.15 percent or 25.57 points at 16,888.83 as of 0004 GMT. On Monday it fell 489.56 points to its lowest close since March 28.

The TOPIX index was down 0.34 percent at 1,704.92.
