Ibobi ministry reshuffled, three new cabinet ministers join

Imphal, Apr 25 (UNI) A minor reshuffle came into effect in the Okram Ibobi government today in Manipur.

Two new cabinet ministers were inducted while a minister of state was given the charge of cabinet minister. Two cabinet ministers also tendered their resignation.

The new cabinet ministers were T N Haokip and D K Korunthang.

Md Allauddin, who was in charge of Rural Development portfolio, (minister of state) was upgraded to a cabinet minister. Two cabinet ministers, who resigned, were Mr Gaikhangam and Mr Ngamthang Haokip.

Governor Dr S S Sidhu administered the oath of secrecy at 4 pm in Raj Bhawan, attended by the Chief Minister, Congress President and former Minister Gaikhangam and other senior ministers.
