Govt transfers controversial officer from irrigation department
Hyderabad, Apr 25 (UNI) Amidst the controversy over filing criminal cases against TDP MLAs for raising Sripadasagar issue in the state assembly with alleged fabricated documents, Andhra Pradesh government today transferred the Principal Irrigation Secretary CVSK Sarma to the Agriculture department.
According to sources, Mr Sarma developed differences with the Major Irrigation Minister Mr Ponnala Lakshmaiah and another senior IAS officer in the Chief Minister's office.
The government posted Mr Hiralal Samaria as the Irrigation and Command Area Development department Secretary.
