Delhi has capacity to grow on its own originality

New Delhi, Apr 25 (UNI) Delhi Lt Governor B L Joshi today said Governmant agencies and planners need to take into consideration the aspirations of its citizens.

In his address at the inauguration of a Delhi Urban Arts Commission (DUCA) exhibition, the Lt Governor said Delhi has its own unique natural heritage and a vibrant population possessing great entrepreneurial skills.

He said the city has the inherent capacity to grow on its own originality and therefore it does not have to emulate unsustainable models developed in other countries.

The ten-day exhibition has been put up by the task forces set up by the DUAC, comprising professionals who have worked on the development perspective for different areas of Delhi.
