BILT Q3 net profit up by 27 per cent

New Delhi, Apr 25 (UNI) Paper manufacturer, Ballarpur Industries Ltd (BILT), today reported a 26.80 per cent increase in its consolidated net profit at Rs 56.06 crore for the third quarter (January-March 2006) as against Rs 44.21 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

The company's consolidated paper revenues were also up by 19.18 per cent at Rs 468.39 crore during the quarter.

The company follows a July-June calendar for accounting.

The nine month consolidated net profit registered a growth of 15.71 per cent at Rs 147.69 crore compared to Rs 127.64 crore during the same period last year.

BILT's conslidated paper revenues increased by 10.30 per cent at Rs 1318.9 crore during the nine-month period.

The company today released its financial and operating results for Q3 FY 2006 and 9M FY 2006.
