2 killed, 9 injured in road mishap

Hubli, Apr 25 (UNI) Two persons were killed and nine injured when a tempo trax in which they were travelling collided with a truck on Hubli-Dharwad bypass.

Police said the mishap occurred when the axle of the tempo trax broke. The vehicle was proceeding to Hangal in Haveri district from Nayinglaj village in Belgaum district.

The injured were admitted to the Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences here.

The deceased were identified as Suresh Ninganagouda Patil (40) and Veetavva Vithal Mane (48).
