Warrant issued against J P Datta

Indore, Apr 24 (UNI) A local court today issued a bailable arrest warrant against Bollywood producer-director J P Datta for dishonouring the Tricolour in his movie 'LoC Kargil' -- a film on the Indian Army's Operation Vijay in 1999.

While hearing a complaint lodged by Tiranga Abhiyan Convenor Ravi Atrolia in 2004, Judicial Magistrate Narendra Kumar Jain fixed May 24 as the next date of hearing.

The prosecution was represented by Advocate Shailendra Dwivedi while Mr Vivek Sharan was defence counsel.

Mr Atrolia alleged that the Tricolour was draped worngly over the bodies of martyred officers and jawans in the movie.
