Rupee seen higher at 45.09

Mumbai, Apr 24 (UNI) The rupee today opened higher at 45.09/10 per US dollar against the previous close of 45.11/1150, said a foreign exchange (forex) dealer here.

However, the rupee dipped to 45.10/12 in the mid-morning session at around 1100 hrs.

Crude oil price in the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) touched a high of USD 72-73 per barrel and traded at 71.23 in the morning, which was keeping rupee under pressure, dealers added.
