Polling begins in Bhaderwah amid tight security
Bhaderwah, Apr 24 (UNI) Polling in the Bhaderwah constituency of Jammu and Kashmir, from where Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad is seeking entry into the state Assembly, began amid tight security here this morning.
No untoward incident has been reported from any part of constituency so far, the officials said.
Initially, polling started on a sluggish note due to wintry conditions in the area but is ikely to pick up by afternoon.
Besides Mr Azad (Congress), the only other candidate in the fray is Dhananter Singh of the BJP.
In all 122 polling station have set up in constituency, out of which 44 have been identified as ''sensitive'' and 48 as ''hyper-sensitive'' There are total of 90476 voters including 44310 females.
