No service tax on static railway catering units.

New Delhi, Apr 24 (UNI) The Railway Ministry today clarified that no service tax had been imposed on catering services from static catering units on Railway premises.

However, service tax has been imposed on mobile and on-board catering services of Indian Railways, it said.
