NBA plans three-day 'Pol Khol Yatra'

New Delhi, Apr 24 (UNI) Ater undertaking a 30-day long dharna including a 20-day fast for justice in the national capital, the Narmada Bachao Andolan now plans to take its struggle against the Sardar Sarovar Project to new level.

The NBA plans to launch a 500-km three-day 'Pol Khol Yatra' that would go through to be submerged villages, pass by submerged villages and visit rehabilitation sites along the Narmada valley in Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat, a statement said here today.

The yatra would start from Indore tomorrow and end at Baroda on April 27.

''We aim to expose the lies of rehabilitation and bring out the reality, unravelling the social and environmental destruction caused by the dam,'' it stated.
