Noida, Apr 24 (UNI) Fresh from his triumph in the Hero Golf Chandigarh Open, Mukesh Kumar eyes his fifth title on the Aamby Valley PGAI Tour this season when he descends upon the Noida Golf Course to play in the Rs 10-lakh ONGC-Noida Open from April 25.

The four time Order of Merit winner currently tallies Rs 15,36,950 in prize money earnings in 14 events and would look to edge closer to the Rs 20 lakh mark. The winner here stands to earn Rs 1,58,200 with the runner-up benefiting to the tune of Rs 1,08,700.

In addition to Mukesh there will be a host of other leading contenders, including Ashok Kumar, who has a phenomenal record on this course, winning four times out of five and finishing runner-up on the other occasion.

Adding further sting to the field would be winners on the Aamby Valley PGAI Tour like Feroz Ali, Shiv Shankar Prasad Chowrasia from Kolkata, Shamim Khan, Jaiveer Virk from Delhi and Digvijay Singh from Meerut.

The presence of Uttam Singh Mundy, who gave Mukesh a close run for his money in Chandigarh last week and Amardip Sinh Malik who is but a hair's breadth away from his maiden title win, will ensure that the favourites stay on their toes.

Meanwhile, Feroz Ali warmed up in style for the event by leading his team to a fine win at the Pro-Am event. The winning team tallied 121 stableford points.
