Hungary opposition accepts coalition won election

Budapest, Apr 24: Hungary's ruling coalition clearly won a parliamentary election today, a spokesman for the opposition Fidesz party said after the election commission released partial results.

''What we can clearly see (from the results) is that the coalition will maintain power,'' spokesman Antal Rogan told state television MTV. Projections by the election commission put the coalition parties on course for a clear majority.
