Hearing in Mulayam Singh case adjourned till May 1
New Delhi, Apr 24 (UNI) The Supreme Court today adjourned till May 1 the hearing of a PIL seeking prosecution of Uttar Pardesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav and his family members for amassing assets disproportionate to their known sources of income.
A division bench, headed by Justice Ruma Pal, adjourned the hearing on the request of Mulayam Singh's counsl P H Parekh who sought time for filing counter to the PIL filed by one Vishwanath Chaturvedi, alleging that the Samajwadi Party supremo and his MP son Akhilesh Singh Yadav had acquired assets worth several crores by misusing their official status.
