GE Shipping receives orders of building

Mumbai, Apr 24: Great Eastern Shipping Company Ltd (GE Shipping) today informed BSE that Greatship (India) Ltd (GIL) a wholly owned subsidiary of the company has signed a contract for two new building Platform Supply Vessels (PSVs).

The UT 755 L N type vessels ordered with Aker Yard ASA, Norway are scheduled to be delivered during second and third quarters of the financial year 2008-09.

GIL's decision to order the said vessels is with a view to be in the off-shore support and logistic services business.
