Ex-champion Thomsen stabbed to death

COPENHAGEN, Apr 24 (Reuters) Former IBC super cruiserweight boxing champion Tue Bjorn Thomsen was stabbed to death in a bar brawl last night, Danish media reported today.

The 33-year-old became IBC champion in 2000. He retired four years ago with a 22-1-1 record. Among those he beat was former WBA champion Nate Miller of the U S.
