3 youths drown in river Cauvery

Mysore, Apr 24 (UNI) Three youths from Bangalore have drowned in river Cauvery at Muthathi in Mandya district of Karnataka.

The police said the youths had come along with their friends on a picnic to Muthathi yesterday. The incident occurred when they went to swim in the river.

Police identified the victims as Rajesh (23), Vinod (22) and Gopi (22).

Search operation is on to trace the bodies.
